Progress Update: This 1978 FJ40 received a RMC Gold Restoration. This project was completed. 04/15/2007.

This vehicle is equipped with the following:

Factory Buckets (recovered)
Jump seats (recovered)
Factory roll bar
Factory Bumper
Brand new steel fenders
2.5" Skyjacker lift
BFG 32x11.50/15 tires
New white spoke wheels
Tuffy Console

This is a short list of parts replaced

High quality front turn signals and tail lights, front bumper, front side emblems, rear reflectors, dash pad, recovered front seats, recovered jump seats, fan belts, heater hoses, oil and oil filter, spark plugs, cap, rotor, wires, air and fuel filters, shocks, spring bushings, front axle seals (inner and outer), and knuckle seals. Complete cooling system overhaul. Charging and starter system rebuilt, New exhaust system. Clutch hydralics replaced. All new weatherstripping and glass seals replaced.

This is a short list of services performed

Coolant system flushed and refilled, engine tuned to factory specs, valves adjusted, charging system tested, front wheel bearing packed and adjusted, front rear axle bearings checked and fluids replaced, transmission and transfer case inspected for smooth shifting and noise - fluids replaced, front and rear brake overhaul.
As always optional equipment such as roof racks, bush guards, grill guards, off-road lights, winches, etc. can be added for an additional cost.
