Unfortunately I need to sell my FJ that I just bought! I am only looking to break even- so anyone interested, please let me know. 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. .
I am looking for the input flange side (front)of a Original Toyota FJ40 catalyst converter to use the stock exhaust round seal with the stock exhaust manifold pipe. I bought this rig without a cat and now need to install one to make it street legal. If you have an old cat with the indent in the flange for a round gasket, all I Need is the flange cut as long as possible and sent. I will weld it in to place on the new cat. Must sell my 1971 FJ40. I've had this for 10 years. Always garaged. The engine went bad, so I decided to start a rebuild. I originally bought this for $3,500. I spend $2,000 to get the engine professionaly rebuilt. I have bought a new Painless wiring harness and a poly gas tank. This LandCruiser needs some love, but you are getting a great deal for a FJ40 project. I now have 3 kids and am moving May 30th so I need this to go. new 33 12.5 15 bfg mud terrains with full size sapre on mickey thompson classic II wheels bestop seats rear bench seat full cage added to the stock rear one weber 38dgas carb mallory ignition headers with true dual exhaust with flowmasters stock 2f motor with factory 4speed and T/case. Runs drives and shifts well but does still have drum brakes up front. all gauges except oil pressure work which im sure is the sending unit. Rancho shocks and manual steering . Paint is poor in quality and peeling in several places. As for the body its pretty solid the is 2 holes rusted in the front lower bib panel which is easy to replace and readily available. One of the rear spit doors has rust its lower edge but again easy to replace. i have a complete fiberglass one piece front end that is included with the truck. Its not in mint condition but is mechanicaly sound and a great canidate for complete resteration.
