Our Gold level restoration package encompasses a complete ground-up frame-off restoration of your vehicle. This restoration package is designed to deliver to you a "Pure" Land Cruiser that is nearly perfect both mechanically and cosmetically. Here is what we will deliver to you in the Gold level restoration package starting at $40,000.00:
The vehicle is first cleaned out, thoroughly inspected and then is completely disassembled.
Engine & Drive-Train:
The engine as well as the complete drive line (transmission, transfer case and differentials) are completely disassembled, inspected and resealed. Repairs may be necessary for an additional cost. Items are cleaned, some media blasted, then painted. All items are cleaned and inspected. Wearable components (Gaskets, belts, hoses, tune components, fluids etc.) are replaced. Relevant factory painted components are painted with high quality epoxy coating. The cooling system is disassembled and inspected. The hoses, water pump, belts, thermostat and fluids are replaced. Some hardware may be re-used pending inspection. Engine compartment electrical components are cleaned and tested and reused if possible, replacement of these components may cost extra. We offer many engine conversion options for an additional cost. These conversion options include Toyota and Chevrolet V8 conversions as well as late model Land Cruiser engines. Drive line options include 4, 5 and 6 speed manuals and late model automatics.
Chassis, Steering and Brakes:
Your suspension system (springs, shocks, u-bolts, bushings, pins, and shackles) is replaced with new components.
The steering system (steering gear, coupler, tie rod ends, drag link, center arm, and steering knuckle bearings) will be rebuilt or replaced.
The brake system (rotors, drums, calipers, wheel cylinders, shoes, pads, hardware, steel and rubber lines, master cylinder, and booster where applicable) will be completely overhauled, rebuilt or replaced.
Tires are replaced, wheels are media blasted and epoxy coated. Valve stems are replaced. Hub caps are polished.
We have many wheel & tire, suspension, brake and steering conversions are available for and additional cost.
Body and Interior:
All body parts and panels are removed and disassembled. All components are removed from the frame. The frame, axle housings, bumper, tire carrier, body parts and panels are all media blasted and cleaned of any paint and rust. Rust repair is evaluated and estimated after the sand blasting occurs. Rust repair could add up to $12,000.00 to the original estimate. The body is then sealed and primed using epoxy type premium primers. Once all repairs to the frame have been made we have several coatings available.
All interior components will be disassembled, cleaned, blasted and repainted. All soft parts (seat covers, dash pads, door panels, and headliner) will be recovered or replaced. The interior of tub will be cleaned, sealed, primed and painted.
The body is then completely reassembled. All new weather-stripping, glass seals, and mountings will be replaced. All exterior accessories such as lights, mirrors, and emblems will be replaced.
Custom bumpers, body armor, interior and exterior poly coatings, cages, skid plates. custom gauges, seats, tilt steering, A/C and hands free electronics such as Navigation or blu-tooth calling are available for an additional cost.
Electrical:
The electrical system will be completely inspected. All electrical components will be tested and recommendations of action will be made. This will include all gauges, switches, motors, lighting and relays. The battery, battery cables, alternator, alternator belt, starter, fuses, relays, flashers and bulbs will all be replaced or rebuilt regardless of test results.
